With all due respect to your expertise and your great willingness to always help, I think you are making it way too complicated to post a photo on a network like this.
All you have to do is surround the url for the photo with a few html tags like this and voila - the photo appears. The photo of course needs to be on a server in order to have a url. So, just put the following tags around your photo url and you're all set:
< IMG SRC=your photo url" >
(Don't put spaces in as I have above. I had to add the spaces so it would show up here on the Web)
I don't even see that little "insert photo" icon on my toolbar and I have a very sophisticated computer. There is an "insert photo" option on Microsoft Word but that has nothing to do with the Internet.
So I think you are providing WAY too much information to members. It was too confusing for me.
By the way, your new photo which you cropped from that larger one, is a great professional shot of you.
